Raymond Fraig

Professor of Project Management

Raymond Fraig is a specialized lecturer, consultant and researcher in the field of Project Management, Construction Engineering and Risk Management with 15 years of experience in providing Project Management training and consultations to a wide spectrum of organizations and individuals.

Raymond began his career as a Senior Construction Engineer in Atreeb Housing and Urbanism (S.A.E.) supervising construction activities, quality assurance, cost control, schedule control and performance reports for ongoing projects. He then took the capacity of PMO Director to supervise the whole portfolio in terms of Bids and contracts preparation, quantity survey, cost estimating, planning and scheduling, managing subcontractors, and supervision and control for ongoing projects. He moved to Saint Raphael Contracting (ltd.) as a Construction Manager to manage planning, execution and control of civil work packages in residential, industrial and educational projects owned/ developed by the organization as (C.F.A. piling, earthmoving, reinforced concrete, brickworks, plastering, painting and others).

Raymond is a full-time Assistant Professor at Faculty of Engineering Delta University, and a Visiting Professor at AAST, and AAGSB and other universities. He provides various courses in Project Cost Analysis, Project Management, Project Financial Management, Project Resource Management, Project Bids and Contracts, Project Feasibility Studies, Project Estimating and Financial Planning, Project Risk and Quality Management, Project Contracting, and Graduation Project. In SSM Cairo, Dr. Raymond is responsible of the Project Management Department, and provides courses in Project Management, Project Risk Management, Project Feasibility Studies, PMI certificates, and others.

Raymond also teaches PMI certificates preparation courses (PMP, CAPM and PMI-RMP) in addition to Project Planning, Contracts and Bids, Project Financial Management, Quality Engineering and more specialized courses to postgraduate and undergraduate students.

He holds with honors B.Sc. in Construction Engineering and M.Sc. in Construction Project Management from AASTMT, then a Ph.D. in Construction and Utilities Engineering from Zagazig University.
