Nada El Shazly

Professor of Economics and Head of FinTech & Blockchain Department

Nada is a professor of Economics and financial transformation; she provides various courses in international economics management, Behavioral economics, and economic development in emerging economies at FEPS Cairo University, Ahram Canadian University, and ACU.

Nada has a significant experience in FinTech operation and Hyperledger Blockchain, and FinTech Ethics & Risks, Business development, Human resources development and SMEs & Microfinance developments. She worked as economics Advisor for the European commission in the EuroMed program, for the World Bank in the poverty and microfinance in Africa program, for the Bundestag in the SMEs and Entrepreneurship program in Egypt. She also worked as a planning and development strategist for the Ministry of Petroleum Egypt in OGS and for Supreme Council of Culture Egypt. In SSM Cairo, Dr. Nada is responsible for the FinTech Department and provides courses in Economics and FinTech.

She is the founder of Everest Business Consulting. A privately held managing consulting firm that provides economics, management, and training services. Everest consult a large array of customers in different industries including FinTech and financial transformation, Oil & Gas, Banking & Microfinance, Media & Entertainment, Hospitality, F&B, and startups. Nada has highly contributed in making of the strategy and optimized entities such as the Ministry of culture, Fawry for smart payment, IMC- Egypt, Albatros-hotels, Bee-Smart payment, OGS, SGS, CMB, Thawra Petroleum, Pharma Pure, and others.

Nada holds a B.Sc., Masters, and PhD degrees in Economics and Political sciences, specialized in European Union economics policies. She has an MBA in strategic management from the University of Wales UK. And a diploma in FinTech management from Oxford University, diploma in FinTech Ethics & Risks from HKU, and diploma in Macroeconomics management in Rich Countries from IMF.
