Adjunct Professor of Marketing and Management Strategies
Ahmed El-Banhawy began his career as a software developer and transitioned into positions as Product Marketing Manager and Sales Manager in previous companies, ESRI NeA and Mentor Graphics.
Ahmed was the Assistant Director of El-Khazindar Business Research and Case Center (KCC) at the American University in Cairo (AUC), and an adjunct professor of Marketing at the AUC. Ahmed’s last position was the Director of TA Telecom Catalyst, which is the investment arm of TA Telecom; and a member of the strategy team for TA Telecom.
Currently, Ahmed is a Business Partner for B2LS Consulting and a consultant for different companies in the region going through different phases of Strategic Changes.
Ahmed helped in editing and writing cases in the textbook “Principle of Marketing (Arab World Edition)” in 2011. He has taught a variety of programs and courses at prestigious institutions, covering topics from marketing and management strategies to interpersonal skills development with special focus on using simulation based courses. In SSM Cairo Eng. Ahmed is responsible of the Marketing Track and provides courses in Marketing Management, Management Strategies, Leadership and others.
Ahmed holds a BSc in Engineering from Ain-Shams University in 2003 and an MBA from the AUC in 2010.
